Rockford Public Schools – Rockford, MichiganRockford Public Schools (RPS) approached Springthrough looking to rebuild their various websites throughout the entire school district into one large consolidated site that was content manageable through a single system.
Objective:The objective was to consolidate hundreds of pages of disorganized content across many different sites, and neatly organize them into a single district-wide website solution.
The Solution:Springthrough worked closely with the 13 person website committee at RPS to establish clear cut goals and organizational structure for the site.
Through several weeks of discovery, meetings, and consultation Springthrough helped Rockford document their goals and come up with a strong organized plan.
Springthrough extended the functionality of our custom web-based CMS to include more robust user permissions and workflow capability to enable Rockford to use different content administrators in every department and at every individual school.
Springthrough provided onsite CMS training to classrooms of 30 people at a time, and worked closely with the district IT department to give them the ability to train their own staff.
