Platinum Education Group approached Springthrough about creating an adaptive testing service for medical first-responders. This testing service helps students improve their scores in preparation for the National Registry tests.
There is currently no equivalent solution in the field.

To create a seamless adaptive testing service for medical first-responders, that draws from a vast pool of questions and creates dynamic tests that increase or decrease in difficulty based on the students’ performance. The service is then capable of showing the end user where they stand on a national level and provide detailed reporting and analysis regarding their performance and areas they need to improve on.

Because there is no equivalent service in existence, Springthrough architected this solution from the ground up. Working closely with the founders of Platinum Education Group, Springthrough gained intimate knowledge of the testing procedures relating to the EMS and Paramedics fields.

Springthrough created a testing solution that draws against a complex data cube to track user performance at the individual question level through a variety of educational metrics and adjust the difficulty ratings of the questions over a long period of time. Essentially, the site becomes smarter the more it is used.
The EMS Computer Adaptive testing solution also included a robust architecture for teachers to administer their classes, and for students to individually manage their accounts.

This system is currently in use across the county at a multitude of universities and related schools.
